Had a wonderful last few days this weekend. I am super excited because my grandmother came in from Poland and will be spending 6 weeks here in the U.S. She is with my mom right now, but will get to hang with me for a few days.  We started the weekend festivities with going to SweetBerry Farms Saturday morning. They have an annual pumpkin patch set up, so we got to pick our pumpkins for carving as well as enjoying their homemade Pumpkin Ice Cream! SOOOO yummy:

Then we headed to Llano, TX to get some awesome BBQ from Cooper's BBQ Pit. They have AWESOME food and their sauce is vinegar based, which is something you need to try if you have no already.  We had tons of food with plenty left over. We got half of a chicken, sausage, brisket, and pork ribs. YUM!

Sunday was another day full of excitement as it was my grandmother's birthday AND my mom's neighbors B-day too. We celebrated by going to Polish church and then a yummy dinner full of my favorite, Fish Tacos! Fish tacos are THE BOMB! I LOVE THEM! I also made some Grapefruit margarita type drinks. This was a Martha Stuart recipe that caught my Granmother's eye. She likes tequila, so it was a must to make. The recipe included: 3 cups Ruby Red juice, 8 oz of Tequila, 4 tsp. lime juice. Pour it over glasses filled with ice and you're ready to serve! They were a big hit at our house and then at the neighbor's house when we went over for dessert.
It was a wonderful weekend, full of good food, friends and family. I had a great time and can't wait for my grandma to come and spend time with me. More adventures. She's such a wonderful person and I love her so very much!
